First sight of Everest

Announcement Date: 4 April 2012

Anand had his first sight of Mt. Everest from “Namache Bazaar.” They came by plane from Kathamandu to Lukla. The Sagaramatha Team walked for three days and reached the “Namache Bazaar.” During the walk Anand fell ill at “Khumjung.” Though he was suffering terribly, he decided to continue moving. He came across several Buddhist Pagodas where he experienced sacredness. Anand had depicted very beautifully the numerous experiences that he came across due to his ‘Vippassana.’ He has also presented many inspiring thoughts from the scriptures regarding religious unity.
